THE NEXT REP IS YOURS.04 / BEFORE YOUR FIRST REP
A few things worth knowing
before you begin.
Yes. The starter introduces basic home-training movements and gives easier variations. Start at a level you can control. If you are unsure about your form, get help from a qualified fitness professional.
A clear, non-slip space, a solid wall, a stable non-wheeled chair placed against a wall, and a sound backpack with a secure handle for rows. You can begin with the bag empty.
This is a starting week, not a transformation promise. Use it to learn the movements, establish your starting level and build a repeatable habit. Lasting progress takes continued training and recovery.
The routine is adult-focused. If you are 16–17, involve a parent or guardian and have a qualified youth fitness professional supervise your technique. This guide is not intended for children under 16.
Shift the schedule and keep a recovery day between sessions. Never double up to catch up. If soreness changes how you move, delay the session. Stop if a joint hurts sharply, and talk to a doctor or physical therapist if you have an injury.
Download the PDF, open it in a PDF reader that supports forms, and type in the training log or tick the review boxes. Save your copy to keep your entries. You can also print the white training-log page.
